After months, I am finally posting another (real life) story! What can I say, I've done enough, too much perhaps, but most of all I enjoyed life! I won't go back in time and tell you week to week what you missed, the way I used to do that. A couple of weeks ago, I went throug
h my archives and god, did I write a lot of bullsh*t.....well, it was all true, but it's funny to see what I wrote 2 years ago.Anyway, it was awesome having my family from USA here again, it was like it was in the States and I enjoyed every second of it! That's why it was difficult to watch them leave again, but that feeling only lasted an hour.
Anyway, I went on holiday to Spain! And at first my intention was to have that Party holiday abroad, but after being so busy with work, friends, family, I just wanted to have a relaxing holiday. Since I've never had that, I've always been busy during my trips, fun busy, but still things that w
ere planned. So in Spain, I went against my lifestyle and actually laid down in the sun at the beach, day after day....or at the pool. I found some inner peace, I guess. I did nothing, I didn't go partying, except for the Dutch night they had at the only bar/restaurant near the campsite. And of course I was in my element as always when there's a party. Owh and to throw in a little of that crazy Talitha, I did (just like I did in China), said Hola, te quiero, meaning "Hi" and "I love you", at least that's what we thougt.. I learned this monday, that it litteraly means: I want you. And now we know why the bread guy was so happy when he saw us...
By the way, I went with a good friend (Geraldine) to her parents and brother + girlfriend, who where already at the campsite for a week or so. We all went together to Barcalona for a day. And we took a big tour bus and of course sat on top. Well....I got a burn on my shoulder....long story...anyway, I've got some stuff to put on it, so hopefully it won't leave a scar. We saw all the hotspots and stopped at La Sagrada Familia and at the stadium of Barcalona (where we took a tour).
The campsite was awesome, very big. There was so much to do. The first couple of night we went to the open air theatre, that was fun. And we also played tennis, which was fun-ny! And we took some trips, went grocerie shopping, stuff like that. It was 30-35 degrees celcius each day and it didn't really cool down at night. But it didn't bother me that much, as I get used
to temperatures quite easily :)! So it was a perfect holiday to finally offer Talitha a break!! But of course, a couple of hours after arriving last Thursday night, I went out again, worked on friday, went to Sonsbeek (there was a festival), worked on saturday, went out till late, got up early for a lunchdate, went to Geraldine, her parents were coming back...so I still didn't get a chance to sleep i
n or to relax. Result? I woke up on Monday with an ache between my eyes, when it's all clogged up a lot, you can get an infection in that spot. Well, it's not that bad. But, I do feel pressure every once in a while and my nose and throat are also part of my new illness. My eyes were also bothering me 2 days, couldn't keep them open to long, since they started hurting. I can never just have a normal illness, I also have a combo or a mix of things or something really bad....so I needed to rest...and use nose spray, etc....so hopefully I'll get better soon....have to work tomorrow, friday and saturday. So that's my story, that's how I'm feeling right now.....I guess I can't always keep on going and going and going...but as all of you know, I probably will always keep on going and going and going...
I'll leave it at this!
Love, hugs and kisses!!
Talithaaa!
