Part I Zero inspiration, zero motivation but on my way to Florida :-)

Monday October 6th late at night is when I finally booked a ticket. Europe, Thailand, Florida? Zero inspiration, zero motivation. But I had to go, get away for a bit and distance myself completely from work and home. And so Europe was already pretty much out of the question but it was still in the back of my mind, visit my brother, go to Italy, Greece. But then I talked about Thailand and how I would always start and/or end my Asia trips there and I decided on Thailand, going up North and maybe visit a few islands in the Phillipines. And yet I'm on my way to Florida atm haha. Going back to what once felt like my 2nd home and recharge with the help of my good old friend, the Florida sun :-)!

Booked my first two nights last saturday and the car late last sunday. I'll figure the rest out while I'm there. For some reason I can't be bothered too much. Monday the 13th, go time!! Haven't been to Schiphol for a while, it's been Dusseldorf or Eindhoven lately. It seems like there's always something lately, trains break down or are delayed or there's roadworks so you have to take a bus for part of the trip. And today wasn't any different and so the adventure begins a bit hectic but I wouldn't want it any other way haha. Finally got to the airport around 930am, boarding is at 10 but I was in group 9 so figured I would have an hour or so and I didn't have to check in any luggage so I knew I would be fine. Things didn't go very smoothly at the airport either but I was at the gate by 10! 

Flight was delayed for a bit but can't say I noticed anything, I was pretty much asleep the second I sat down haha. First time ever in a middle seat btw but wasn't all that bad. And with a shorter flight time, we're still expected to get to Philly on time for my transfer. One more flight after that and I'll be in sunny Florida ☀️.

My 2nd flight, only 2,5hours, was great. A whole row all to myself! Just the way I like it hihi! In the last hour or so, the sun started to show itself and a smile on my face followed :-)!
