So I had a few things planned for today but the order changed when I went out for my first stop: getting a stamp. Turns out that on saturday a lot of post offices are closed. And so I ended up walking over 2km to one that was open haha. I saw a lot of German people on my way and also during breakfast, their match was at 3pm. I also saw a lot of Japanese restaurants throughout the city and so it wasn't just limited to Little Tokyo. I even saw a mini version of the Shibuya crossing (which is the most known crossing in Tokyo but you can find crossings like that throughout the city as well and I also saw two smaller ones here). And so I finally found my stamp and made my way back the same way. As said, it took a lot longer than anticipated and it was close to 1pm which was when the Dutch match would be on. And so I figured I would watch the match first. But not without a visit to their Dollarshop, Dollarama.
Look-a-like Shibuya crossing

As I was on my way to where there would be a big screen outside, I passed a bar with an outside space and screens inside and out and decided to watch it from there. It was pretty quiet and almost sounded like the start of a bad joke, 1 Swedish guy, 1 German guy and 1 Dutch girl walked into a bar.... Haha I sat down and videocalled two friends from back home as it was one of their birthdays as well and so we talked until the game started.
The Swedish guy sat in front of the tv and the German guy was close as well. After The Netherlands had scored their second goal against Sweden, the Swedish guy left haha. A little after that, the German guy left as well. It seemed as if nobody was pro-The Netherlands or cared too much about this game haha and so it was just me, my orange hat and beer watching! Don't hate the country, hate the players π€.
Thanks Action, reversible hat!
Cheers to Holland!!

After 3 pints, a white russian and a plate of potstickers (so yummy), I left a little buzzed towards the nailsalon. I planned on just doing a pedicure but the buzz took over and I also did a manicure "how much extra for a manicure without polish?" I asked and agreed to it. And then "how much extra for regular polish?", ok throw that in as well haha. After I finished, I walked back to the room and bought an online ticket for an edge walk on the CN Tower, 356m up in the air!

Checking in!
After another quick videocall, it was time to go. I walked over to the tower and saw how high it was and asked myself, why?! Haha. And I also thought about that bungeejump girl that wasn't attached to a rope. Not the type of thing that should be on your mind when doing these types of activities. But I kept walking and got there early and so they told me I could join the 6pm one which only had one other guy. The guy was pretty nervous because he was afraid of heights and so he was happy that somebody else joined in. When we finished, he also said to me, thank you again, you really made it easier for me and I appreciate that! Too kind!!!
It was so much fun, I laughed a lot and yes, I was also a bit nervous at times. Like I said, I thought about the bungeejump girl and this is when I really had to trust that everything worked well. And I did, I just listened to whatever she told me to do and let go of everything else :-)!
That's where I will be in a few, yikes!
No way back!

Not sure this works, but check out the video (12min). It's hilarious haha! And you also get to see us leaning forward as well as backwards (as seen on the photos)!
I walked back and passed a huge square pretty much next to my hotel with a mega screen, food trucks and fun. Haha and I looked all over the city for places to watch the match!
Tacos for dinner!
Final day here! Decided to go to Toronto islands, Kensington Market and Chinatown. And also to the tower again as my edge walk came with free admission as well. Visited Centerville and the beach on the islands and had a drink in the sun before heading back.

Walked around Kensington after, what a cute neighborhood!! Lots of great food places as well!! And I also walked around part of Chinatown. But I was beat in the end I had walked sooo much already and so I bought take away roti in Kensington, ate that in the lounge of my accomodation and took a nap after haha. I did want to go ot again and so I went for another walk but I couldn't really be bothered to do too much and so I was only out for an hour or so. Total today 18.8km!! Last two days was 9.2 and 9.5km! I didnt have much of a bath but I still sat in it every day ππ§π½♀️.
Thanks Toronto, you have been amazing! Such a divers and fun city, from skyscrapers to cute neighborhoods. I have felt very safe and it didn't take long for me to get familiar with the city and know my way around. It's a place I would definitely go back to and recomment anyone to visit! It feels like I've been here for weeks, even though it's been 5days haha, and so I am ready to move on! Crossing the border, Chicago, here I come!
My hair exploded π€£
Cheers,
